JDH Design Group is a young and energetic practice established in 2013.

Founder and Director, Jamie Hick, leads a studio of talented and passionate building designers on a diverse collection of residential, commercial, and affordable multi-family housing complexes. 

Our primary interest lies in the realisation of projects from their conceptual ideas into structured frameworks. We pride ourselves on our passion and enthusiasm for all facets of design in projects both large and small.

It’s in our process that we establish strong foundations. From each project outset we encourage a collaborative atmosphere to craft dynamic and successful designs that are thoughtful responses to people, brief and place. 

With over 1000 projects and counting our specialisations lay in townhouses, new homes, renovations and commercial design.

Prior to founding JDH Design Group, Jamie spent 10 years working as a building designer at various firms across Melbourne. Through his work and own exploration, Jamie’s vision for his own company developed – a practice grounded in solid design that is dedicated to creating innovative building solutions.
